Going through photos from our Malaysia tour, and I couldn’t resist sharing some of these.
Because a touring magic spectacular is so much more than what the audience sees on the night of the show. And these photos tell that story better than I ever could in words.
The Journey There
Every tour starts long before the first illusion is performed. Getting the team — performers, crew, and production staff to Malaysia is a production in itself. Flights, logistics, equipment coordination, and the kind of organized chaos that only road-seasoned veterans can navigate with a smile. This photo one tells that story perfectly.
The Backstage Moments
Some of my favorite photos from any tour are the candid ones. The quiet moments before showtime. Hair and makeup. A crew member catching a moment of rest on a flight case between setups. These are the real memories of life on the road.
The Audiences
And then there’s this — a tent packed with hundreds of people, families, children, all waiting for something they’ve never seen before. That energy right before a show begins is unlike anything else in the world. It’s the reason we do what we do.
Malaysia was a remarkable experience — the venues, the clients, and most of all the audiences. The kind of tour that reminds you exactly why you chose this life.
